Description: Address points in Douglas County, KS. The schema conforms to the state's NG911 requirement, with additional fields added to support local business processes.Attributes Include (Note - most attribute descriptions are copied directly from Kansas NG9-1-1 GIS Data Model Version 2.0): OBJECTID: System-generated unique identifier within this feature class.STEWARD: Agency that owns record/Data Steward. GNIS/INCITS code for the agency responsible for maintenance of the data.L_UPDATE: The date of the last update of the recordSTATUS: Status of address pointEFF_DATE: Effective Date. The date the record is or was scheduled to take effect. If not recorded, the date address point was added is used as the effective date. EXP_DATE: Expiration Date. The date the record is scheduled to expire. This field shall only be populated if there is a defined end date. ADDID: Unique identifier. STATE: State. The two character abbreviation for the state where the address point is located. COUNTY: County. County name spelled out for the county where the address point is located.MUNI: Municipality. The name of the incorporated municipality where the address point is located. Only used if a named municipality exists, otherwise use “Unincorporated”. HNO: Address Number. The street or house number for the address. It does not include any secondary information like suite or apartment numbers. HNS: Address Number Suffix. An extension of the address number that follows it and further identifies a location. Example: “1/2” in 101 ½ Oak St. PRM: Street Name Pre Modifier. PRD: Street Name Pre Directional. A cardinal direction abbreviation preceding the street name key. Only N, S, E, W, NE, NW, SE, and SW can be used.STP: Street Name Pre Type. A street type which precedes the street name key. This must be spelled out fully. Example: AVENUE 3, not AVE 3. RD: Street NameSTS: Street Name Post Type. An abbreviated suffix following the street name. Valid values are limited to the Common Abbreviations listed in USPS Publication 28. POD: Street Name Post Directional. A cardinal direction abbreviation following the street name key. Only N, S, E, W, NE, NW, SE, and SW can be used. POM: Street name Post Modifier. An additional value sometimes found on certain roads. Valid values include but are not limited to: ACCESS, ALTERNATIVE, BUSINESS, BYPASS, CONNECTOR, EXTENDED, EXTENSION, LOOP, PRIVATE, PUBLIC, SCENIC, SPUR, RAMP, UNDERPASS, OLD, OVERPASSESN: Emergency Service Number for the address. MSAGCO: MSAG CommunityPOSTCO: Postal CommunityZIP: The 5-digit postal or ZIP codeZIP4: The ZIP plus 4 code without the dashBLD: Building – one among a group of buildings that have the same address number and complete street name. FLR: Floor – a floor, story or level within a building. UNIT_TYPE: Unit Type (example ‘UNIT’ or ‘STE’)UNIT: Unit – the unit type and unit number (or other designator) for a group or suite of rooms within a building that are under common ownership or tenancy, typically having a common primary entrance. Examples: Apt 2C, Lot 6, Ste 301. Unit type shall be abbreviated using the secondary unit designators list from USPS publication 28. ROOM: Room – a single room within a buildingSEAT: Seat – a place where a person might sit within a buildingLOC: Subaddress not Already Listed. Any part of a sub-address that is not a building, floor, unit, room, or seat. Example: a building that is in two different ESNs may have one address point with “WEST HALF” in this field and a second with “EAST HALF” LMK: Landmark Name. The name by which a prominent feature is publicly known or vanity address. Example: The White House, Harvard University. MILEPOST: Mile Post Number. A numeric measurement from a given beginning point used for specifying locations along interstate highways, recreation trails and other unaddressed routes as well as stretches of county, state, or federal routes where the distance measurement is posted. May be included in addition to address numbers or in place of them if the route is unaddressed. A value is required if the road is unaddressed, like most interstates, otherwise the field is optional. Example: Mile Marker 231.5. PLC: Place Type – the type of feature identified by the address. The domain for this attribute is from RFC 4589. LONG: Longitude in decimal degreesLAT: Latitude in decimal degreesELEV: Elevation (m above sea level)LABEL: A composite of the street number and naming information with the unit number in proper case for cartographic use. Building names, unit numbers and other secondary address elements should be preceded by the Secondary Unit Designator from the Official USPS abbreviations list. UPDATEBY: GIS staff member who most recently edited the point’s location and/or its attributes.LOCTYPE: Location Type. The location of the point relative to the structure in question selected from the following domain: PRIMARY (on the structure or the site), SECONDARY-ACCESS (on driveway or other access point), SECONDARY-OTHER. Note: Only the points attributed as “Primary” will be included in the call-routing database. USNGRID: US National Grid. The US National Grid coordinates to 10 digits (1 meter)KSPID: The 19 character parcel ID or “CAMA” number for the parcel on which the address points sits. ADDURI: Additional Data URI. URI for accessing additional information about the address. UNINC: Unincorporated Community. The name of the unincorporated community where the address point is located. This could be an unincorporated town name, a subdivision name, or a plat name. SUBMIT: For Submission to Master Repository NOTES: NotesORIG_ADDR: Original Address. If the address has changed since address point was initially placed, this is the original address. GlobalID: System-generated unique identifier required for replicating data among database replicas.UNIT_NO: Unit Numberfz: The fire zone in which the address point is placed.fa: The fire area in which the address point is placed. lz: The law enforcement zone in which the address point is placed.la: The law enforcement area in which the address point is placed.RCLMATCH: A unique road centerline ID for the road centerline segment the address is located. GEOMSAG: Similar to a MSAG but is created and edited by GIS data. RCLSIDE: The side of the road centerline where the address is located. Shape: System-generated description of the type of geometric object stored in this feature class.
